Lakers 69, Grizzlies 100: Box score and game information


The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 100-69 on Friday at the Thomas and Mack Center in the NBA 2K24 Summer League thanks to 21 points from David Roddy.


The Grizzlies got out to a tremendous start, leading 24-9 after one quarter, and kept the momentum going to lead by 29 points at halftime. The Lakers put forth a stronger effort in the third, but they were only able to reduce the gap to 22 points going into the fourth. In the fourth, the Grizzlies accelerated once more as they roared to the 31-point victory.

Six different Grizzlies players scored in double figures, with Roddy leading the way with 24 points on 8 of 11 shooting. G.G. Jackson II added 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists off the bench, while Jake LaRavia added 20 points, five rebounds, and two blocks as a follow-up. The double-double performance of Vince Williams Jr. included 11 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block.

LJ Figueroa, who played just 13 minutes off the bench for the Lakers, led his team with 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Colin Castleton was the only starter to reach double digits with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Cole Swider followed with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and a steal.
