In the NBA 2K24 Summer League on Thursday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, the Cleveland Cavaliers battled past the Chicago Bulls 87-83 thanks to a strong fourth-quarter defensive effort and outstanding all-around efforts from Craig Porter and Isaiah Mobley.

Through the first quarter, the Cavaliers led 29-19 after starting the game well on both sides of the floor. The Bulls, on the other hand, completely erased their deficit over the middle quarters and carried a one-point lead into the fourth quarter, when they expanded it to as many as seven points. Nevertheless, Cleveland's last 4:23 14-3 run ensured the thrilling comeback triumph. 

Porter scored 22 points to lead the Cavaliers, and he added eight rebounds, six assists, three steals, and one block. Mobley produced a double-double of 18 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Emoni Bates, a rookie selected in the second round, contributed 15 points and 6 rebounds. 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists from Sharife Cooper.

With 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one block, Javon Freeman-Liberty led the Bulls. Dalen Terry had a stat line of 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block.
